Armory

Doing an Armory is quite simple

Open 3DMax and import your armory model or for this case i will use a basic box to show the way.

Made a box say .8m x .8m x.8m add a texture to it, doesn't matter what you use for now just a color so you can see it in game.
We will name this 01Armory

Add a second box over the top of it at say 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.2m or if you have a model make the box to cover it
We will call this one CA01
Now clone it and call it CF01

A quick tip, highlight each box and set X, Y and Z values to 0 with the move option. This will center the box to the grid making it easier to work on.

Now we need another small box say .05m x .05m x .05m
Call it _01 center which will sit in the middle bottom of the model
Cone it and rename it to ~01 Armory

Now clone ~01 center again calling it UPG01 Armory
This box needs to be moved to the top, it is the box that shows ARMORY in game when approach the armory.

So to recap we have 6 boxes:

Save and Export as an ASE file

Open the SuperOED and import the Armory.ASE file, then Export the 3di.

Add the new into into the ITEMS.DEF

begin "Armory001"
  id 107130
  type building
  graphic CM_Amry
  attrib: Landable Armory
  render_function bldg
end

Once you have done this, pack it into the game.
