Weapons Tutorial

A quick tut on how to bring the P90 from DFX2 into JointOp's.

Grab the P90.zip from the bottom of this post.

We should have the list below:

ammo.def <---- Add Ammo info to def
weapons.def <---- Add new Weapon to def
P90_1st.3di <---- !st Person View
P90_3rd.3di <----3rd Person View
P90_1st.adm <---- Animation of Reload
P90_irn.tga <---- Sights for P90
H_clip.tga <---- Shows Clips
H_rounds.tga <---- Shows Rounds left
H_P90.tga <---- Hud Image of Weapon
M_P90.tga <---- Image Place Holder
Q_P90.dds.tga <---- P90 Gun Skin
Q_P90.mdt.tga <---- Image for Skin

Add the Ammo and Weapons info to the appropriate files

Put it all into the Pack folder and copy the Mod over to your Game Folder like we have done in the past.

Lets look at the weapon model in 3DMAX P90_3rd.3di

Model is 01Mesh
First Tellow is UPS01 bcasing
The Red box is _01center
Second Yellow is UPS01 bullet
Third Yellow is UPS01 MFLASH01

As we are adding a Weapon already created for the game we don't have to worry about the above as we took everything we needed from DFX2 but if you want to make your own Weapon from scratch it is handy to know.
